Aces Long Term Player Development Model
Hello Fellow Aces,

As the new Aces president, I wanted to let you know the board has been working very hard since the New Year to review the survey we conducted covering all the major Metroplex hockey associations.  We are using your feedback to develop a go forward Aces strategy that is driven by your comments and suggestions.

The key survey takeaways are:
1. You Want Strong Player Development
2. Quality Coaching

Today marks a significant transition for The Texas Aces as we introduce the Aces Long Term player Development Model (LTpDM).  It’s an important step that we hope you will see as an investment in The Texas Aces, one that will strengthen our ability to provide high-quality hockey development to the Aces players. The changes have already started and will be fully implemented by the start of next season.

For more information and to learn about our new LTpDM, please click on the link below:

Please stay tune for more exciting announcements in the coming weeks!

As always, we want to know how to get better at serving you, please feel free to let us know.

Regards
David Mills
Aces President

The combination of being the youth sports epicenter of North Texas and $4 a gallon gas has made the Dr Pepper StarCenter McKinney-Craig Ranch a destination of choice for hockey families. The McKinney rink now hosts the largest house leagues for the youngest skaters in addition to being the home rink for the Texas Aces Hockey Club. 2011 NTXHL Midget Major A Champions

The Texas Aces Midget Minor Johnson team captured the 2011 NTXHL Midget Minor A championship this weekend in an exciting three game series with the Dallas Stars Selects.  The Aces got off to a slow start dropping the first game 7-3.  In game 2 the Aces fought back from 1-0 and 2-1 deficits to take the game 3-2 led by two goals from Josh Walpole.  Game 3 was close all the way with the Aces eventually taking a 2-0 victory led by Seth Woods scoring both goals and Tom Hodges in goal with the shut out!  Congratulations Aces!
