| | Note from the President |  |  | | Many of you have heard about the continuing changes going on in the DFW Tier 1 hockey community. As those organizations continue to change from year to year I thought it would be a good time to remind our Aces family, and others that may want to join us, that our organization remains committed to stability in support of our core values. Our coaches and Board remain dedicated to our players and the need to focus on their development in a challenging but supportive environment. Everything that we do has our players in mind because that’s why the Aces exist, for the players.
We hope to see you at our 2008 Spring Skills Camp (details below), and at tryouts. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs.

Tryout dates and locations have been set for all 2008-2009 Texas Aces teams. The cost of the tryouts is $45 in advance and $50 at the door on the day of the tryouts.

8 Week Aces Spring Skills Camp
Back by overwhelming demand, the 2008 Spring Aces Skills Camp will again be under the direction of NHL veteran and training specialist Alan May. Alan is not just a hockey player with a few games in the minor leagues, he is a veteran of almost ten years of professional hockey including 400 NHL games where he trained with the NHL’s best coaches and players. With a passion for the game, Alan has coached professional hockey for several years and has been teaching youth players in the Dallas area for almost 10 years with players moving on to college and Canadian League careers. Alan’s hockey knowledge is in such demand, he is featured weekly on Montreal radio, plus guest appearances on the NHL Network.
